Hi, I’m Bill … Glad to meet you!

I’m a 54 year old musician from the South East of England.

I’m guessing that’s classed as ‘middle-aged’ … I started playing the guitar at the age of 15 and by the age of 22 in 1986, I was playing professionally, earning a living, both good and bad at times … but here’s the thing … music has been the thread through my life from a young age.

I’ve always written songs, good songs that nobody has really heard. I have loads of them! I even have a self released album with Clash Drummer Topper Headon playing on a track!

To add to the mix, I was raised from the age of 9 in children’s homes and foster care, I will share these experiences also.

I’m a Dad, a Grandad, I’m twice married, I’ve been rich, I’ve been poor and I’ve loved and I’ve lost … but I’m still standing!

The reason for this blog / website is that I have finally decided that now is the time for me to tell my story, share my life,  follow my dream / ambition of becoming a self sufficient, independent artist  / DIY musician and hopefully inspire others along the way.

I’ve travelled the world, I still love to travel, I will share this also.
I’ve sung to thousands, met famous people, been on TV … So why haven’t I done this already you may ask?
Well I won’t explain that on this page, the reasons for this will be documented elsewhere in this blog but for people who may feel that they’re washed up at 50 plus … too old, too tired to make music … to live their dream, whatever it is … Think again!  … Come along for the ride, it may be a bit rough and I’m sure it won’t be pretty at times … but what the hell! … Let’s do this!
